Kleehammer, Mantell named Athletes of the Week

MCC men's lacrosse player Erik Kleehammer (Irondequoit, NY/Irondequoit) and women's softball player Dominique Mantell (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) were named the MCC Athletes of the Week.

Kleehammer, a sophomore attack, had a huge week as the Tribunes won twice.  He had three goals and four assists in a 17-2 win over Cayuga.  He then followed that with four goals and two assists in a 19-9 win over Jefferson.

Dominique Mantell, a sophomore outfielder, hit .609 to help lead the MCC Tribunes to a perfect 6-0 record last week. She finished 14-for-23 at the plate with three doubles, three triples, two home runs, and 13 runs batted in. She also scored eight runs and didn't make an error in the field. Mantell is hitting .432 on the season.
